Job Description: Our disability care community needs a Nurse (RN or LPN) to care for our residents. We’re looking for a caring, compassionate, experienced professional who loves taking care of people and prioritizes communication and engagement. This position requires working on a one-on-one basis with our clients to ensure the highest quality of care. We’re looking for an individual who truly cares about making our community the best home possible for our residents. Responsibilities and duties:

  • Be aware of all medical issues for all clients
  • Provide nursing care to the clients in accordance with federal, and state standards and the policies of the Lutheran Home Hope Residence

Qualifications and skills:

  • Possess a current, unencumbered, license and registration to practice as a RN or LPN in the state of Minnesota.
  • Demonstrate leadership abilities to develop and motivate people
  • Possess critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Exhibit the ability to prioritize responsibilities
  • Be flexible and able to work under stressful situations
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Be self-directed and work autonomously.

Hope Residence is a 52-bed intermediate care facility servicing individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities located at 611 West Main Street, Belle Plaine, Minnesota.
